BOOK WITH CONFIDENCE

It is our goal to ensure that every guests expectations are met during their stay.  This condo is regularly checked for the replacement of items, repairs -or- for adding enhancements regularly.  On a tropical island, the maintenance of the unit and the furnishings is very important.  The sea air has a tendency to wear out items at a faster rate than on the mainland.  Our regular visits to the condo ensure that everything is working perfectly.  Lastly, the satisfaction of our guests visit to the condo and to the island are very important to us.  We diligently strive to ensure that all guests are prepared for their trip and that they have the information they need to make their visit memorable.

With fond Aloha,

Memorable Molokai and Ke Nani Kai #115

My wife and I stayed here for the month of November, 2014. We had a marvelous time. The condo is exactly as advertised. Fully and beautifully equipped, really comfy bed, and a smart TV with a gazillion channels. And Molokai; well, it’s the friendly isle, with a population of about 8,000 and no traffic lights. Where else can you take a most-memorable mule ride down sea cliffs to a National Historic Site? If you want the mob scene and a more hectic pace, there’s always Maui. If you want peace and relaxation, then this is the place. Rose provides the most thorough package of info imaginable: what to do, where to go, who to call--it was fabulous.

Feel the Aloha spirit!

This charming condo has just about everything one could want to enjoy a week of peace and quiet on this lovely island. Our hostess, Rose, has put a lot of thought into making this a pleasant place to relax and enjoy your surroundings. If you want night life, this is not the place for you. But for us - it was perfect! What we especially liked was the list of "things to do" supplied by Rose, and we were able to check off several items on the list and still had plenty of time to enjoy #28 - "Sit on the lanai and relax!" Something we don't do nearly often enough! We knew ahead of time that we wanted to take the Mule Ride to Kalaupapa and had signed up for that in advance of our stay on Molokai. I must say that the mule ride was quite the experience for these old bones, but we are so glad we made the choice to go. Rose has the book "Molokai" by Alan Brennert in her library and I took the time to read it before we rode down to Kalaupapa, so that made the trip even more impressive. We were privileged to be able to learn more about the its history and the unfortunates who were forced to live there. If you've never been to Molokai I would encourage you to come, see and enjoy the quiet beauty of the Friendly Island. We're so happy we made that choice! Aloha!

Comfortable elegance with a sunset ocean view

Attention to detail, beautiful furnishings and an ocean view make Ke Nani Kai #115 the perfect accommodations on Moloka'i west side. Rose has thought of everything anyone could need or want for in a short or long term visit. And the quality of the amenities? Exceptional. We instantly felt at home. At the end of a long day adventuring, we were welcomed by a super comfortable bed and the sound of distant crashing waves as a tropical fan overhead, slowly circling, lulled us to sleep. I could live here! We only wish we had more than 2 days..

Ocean View-Abundantly Furnished

This gracious home was absolutely comfortable and cozy. Extremely well stocked with everything we needed. First day weloaded up the trunk with all the accessories and used the toys, chairs, coolers as our days unfolded. Perfect!!! My husband kept his first comments to himself as we flew from Oahu to the island. He was afraid it was too desolate for me. He really feared his birthday trip which he designed would prove to be way too laid back for me. Wrong. I loved it. We explored every possible road our rental car was allowed on and some it was not. Ooops. We found the people extremely kind and admired and respected their kindred spirits. I gushed to all my friends how wonderful it was. Many would never go that island even after my experience, it is not for everyone. Mule trip was excellent, eerily peeked back in time andadmired the people who maintain their privacy. Most beautiful viewever. Husband loved the ride down, I had my eyes closed on many of the hairpin turns, my guide laughed and laughed. The captain of thesnorkel boat was delightful, best day of snorkeling ever; so relaxing compared to Maui and Kauai. Not a bad meal on the island, huge portions. We shopped at fruit stands, delicious. Went to church, felt welcomed. Sunsets watching the surfers, highlight of our days. The turkeys, frogs, peacock, spiders, gorgeous song birds always entertaining. We will return to the island soon!

Great Fun, Great Condo

Best 1 bedroom Condo in the best resort on Molokai. Enjoyed 2 weeks of hiking, swimming, snorkeling, diving, surfing, reading, and from the lanai, watching the ocean spray off the distant face of Kiaka Rock.Relaxation was easy...from the comfy chaise cushions, plush bedding and linens, top electronics, new upgraded appliances, cabinets, granite countertops, etc. etc. Rose's pride of ownership is everywhere. Her website-listed ammenities are the real deal.Planning a stay with Rose is like like having a longtime friend on the Island. She knows what to do, where to do it, and about what it will cost. Molokai is the antidote to the hustle, bustle, traffic, and time stress of the other Islands. Unit 115 @ Ke Nani Kai with the pool, spa, and tennis courts is your Fun Central. And, if you have to have a little competitive fix, there's a Ping Pong table by the big pool!

It Does't Get Any Better

Lots of people have Ke Nani Kai condos for rent. But this unit puts the rest to shame. This is truly a home where you will want to stay for much longer than you planned. We are veteran travelers to Molokai since a 1979, watched Ke Nani Kai being built, and have stayed in various units over the years. But this week-long trip and the stay in Rose and Gene's condo was more than we have been blessed with before. Rose's description of the condo is not a marketing gimmick. All the supplies, the view, and the beautiful furnishings are even more luxurious than you could imagine. When we buy our Ke Nani Kai condo, our interior designer will be Rose! What a great place to celebrate a birthday, successful kidney transplant, and Valentines. Mahalo!

Great Condo!

Probably the most helpful and nicest owner we've rented from. been to a lot of islands and stayed at a lot of condos but this one is right up there at the top. beautiful interior, easy to use keyless entry door, all the facilities worked great, etc. I could go on for every but i'll just say that this condo was wonderful with it's great view of ocean and quiet neighbors. thank you rose for making my vacation a great experience.

We stayed at Rose & Gene's condo at #115 Ke Nani Kai from May 28th until June 4th, 2009 after spending a week in Poipu on Kauai. Our impression was that, while Kauai is becoming ever more touristy, Molokai is becoming less so. If you want a vacation in which stress melts away entirely, then do yourself a favor and visit Molokai. Better yet, stay at Rose & Gene's place on the sunny west side of the island. The condo overlooks the 3-mile long Papohaku Beach, light pollution is minimal so that the night sky is illuminated in a way that few ever see (you can see the Milky Way galaxy head-on), you are visited on the lanai by wild turkeys in the early morning and late afternoon and by bufo toads in the evening, and the fully-equipped kitchen, furnishings and Rose's decorative sensibilities make you feel right at home on this island paradise. Some of the most pristine and secluded beaches are on the west side and within walking distance from the condo (we especially liked Kepuhi Beach located just off the "back 9" of the Kaulakoi Resort and the two Mauliuli Beaches directly north of Kepuhi Beach). Also, within a 5~10 minute drive is Dixie Maru Cove, which is ideal for snorkeling and swimming. Be sure to take the mule ride down into Kaulapapa and to drive to the east side of the island to see Halawa Valley. Also, people told us that the guided hike through the Halawa Valley led by Eddie Tanaka is worthwhile. Rose provides information on how to contact Eddie to schedule a tour. We can't wait to return.

Vacations are almost always a great thing.

The one that my husband and I took this year to Rose's #115 condo on Molokai was one of the best and most relaxing ones we have EVER taken. We stayed for a week in the first part of April and couldn't of asked for anything more! The condo was very well stocked (in fact, don't go to the store before you go there and check!), the location is great, what more could one ask for? The only thing that we can think of is....to be able to come back! Thanks to Rose and all the information she shared with us regarding the island, we felt like we were home. We've all heard the saying "home away from home" and I can honestly say that Ke Nani Kai #115 condo is truly our "home away from home" and can't wait to go back again.

Mahalo Rose! Loved everything.

Had perfect weather the whole 7 days; sunshine & wind or breezes from the NE. The many beaches and tide pools are very special. Thanks for giving us Eddie Tanaka's name. His tour of the Halawa Valley & falls was fabulous and educational too. We learned so much Hawaiian history from him; his dedication to cultural tradition is inspiring. We hope he has his way and that Molokai remains un-spoiled. Oh yes -- loved watching the humpbacks breach, from our lanai! We'll try to return!
